Tales of Eternia for PSP
(2005, Namco Tales Studio)

Welcome to my adventures diary from the PSP version of the Tales of Eternia game.
I plan to describe and picture my adventures in the world of Eternia in a form of a short story.
You may treat it more like a loose diary that a detailed walkthrough or guide.

This is me, my name is Reid

And this is my friend, Farah

It was an usual morning, I went to my favourite place in the forest. The lookout tower on the edge of a cliff.
I was not expected to find there my close friend Faray that day.

We got some nice conversation

Our meeting was interrupted by some unexpected event:
Suddenly, We noticed a falling star - or at least something similiar.
It was falling directly towards us and there was no time to escape!

It's a comet? Or a meteor? No, it's...

Then I heard an explosion and felt on the ground.
I think I lost my conciousness for a moment.
When I woke up, the tower was lying in ruin and I was not able to find Farah.
I decided to go into woods to see what happened with my friend.

I finally found Farah on the crash site

After a while, I found Farah next to some sort of Capsule. And there was another person as well!
A girl, that spoke in different language, appearently survived the crash.
We decided to take her to out village leader, Kharman and ask for advice.

Surprisingly, the old man ordered to cast out girl out of town!
Farah did not agree on that. She was willing to stay with the girl and help her.
I was hesitating though...

Kharman is quite a harsh guy

Farah and I decided the girl must be taken to our friend, Keele.
He's a scholar in the university. He's wise enough to be able to help us.
We had to head to Mintche, the Town of Academia

It appeared the new girl is very tied to me. She does not want to leave the town without me.
I had no choice but to join them in their quest...

It was too late to quit...

Then we spent last moments in our home town to prepare the most needed things, weapons, clothes and supplies.
I even tried to search the supplies in Farah's bedroom, but for some reason she did no like that.

Farah's got a high sense of privacy

Anyway, we left Farah's house and start preparing to our journey...

We also found some guy named Wonder Chef, who was hiding in my house disguised as a vase or something???

This strange guy appeared out of nowhere and teached us a sandwich recipe

I like to peek to every corner

We checked every house, every hideout and every barrel :) - finally we were ready!br> .We said farewell to our home town and set out to an adventure!

The vast wilderness awaits!

This appeared to be a long and dangerous travel, we had to be cautionous as bandits and beasts could ambush us any time.
Sometimes, we weren't able to avoid the confrontation, but somehow we managed to repel their attacks.

It's me, a brave warrior Reid!

Our new friend finally shared with us her name, Meredy!!

On the way to Academia we were caught by night, so we stop to rest in the nearby settlement.
There was an inn and a dojo, where Farah used to train martial arts.

I found a magic well of some kind. I wonder what's its purpose...

We decided to rest in the inn until the morning.
In our room, there was a suspicious kettle next to one of beds. As soon as I touched it, our friend Wonder Chef materialized to teach us another recipe!

Wonder Chef again, this time enchanted in kettle?

On the next day, We were ready to continue our journey...
